What’s Your Go To Make Up?

When I was in university I completed a Foundation Degree in Media Make Up with Special Effects, and that was my first time buying and using high end branded make up. When I was younger I was never really bothered with make-up at all, however, now it’s a different story.

In the last few years I’ve been experimenting with different brands and trying to find out which one works the best for me. For the most part I use Kat Von D make up, with the exception of Urban Decay eye shadow and sometimes a MAC lipstick.

My go to everyday make up is usually all the same, with the occasional change in shade of eye shadow and lipstick.

Foundation: Kat Von D Lock It Foundation
Blusher: Seventeen
Eyebrow: Kat Von D Brow Pomade – Light Brown
Eye shadow: Urban Decay – Full Spectrum – Alchemy
Eye Liner: Kat Von D Tattoo Liner – Trooper Black
Mascara: Kat Von D – Go Big or Go Home – Trooper Black
Highlighter: Kat Von D Alchemist – Ultra Violet Amethyst
Setting Powder: Kat Von D Lock It Setting Powder – Translucent
Lipstick: Kat Von D – Everlasting Liquid Lipstick

I’ve started building up a small collection of the everlasting lipstick and today I added another shade to that collection. So far, from left to right on the picture below I have: Roxy, Exorcism, Lolita, Mother (newest one), Miss Argentina and Outlaw (my favourite shade of red)

The other thing I added today was the Kat Von D Alchemist Holographic highlighter pallet (previously I’d used BarryM Cosmic Lights), so far my favourite shade is Ultra Violet Amethyst (the one in the middle).

What I’m looking for now is a new contour palette and blusher, so if you have any suggestions or things for me to try out let me know what works for you. I do have my eye on the KVD contour palette, so if any of you have tried it and love it or hate it let me know, I’d love to hear some opinions… and of course if you have any suggestions on what Ever Lasting Lipstick shade I should buy next I’m all ears!
